Statement regarding the Missouri AG's office investigation of the St. Louis Children's Hospital Gender Center
TransParent was founded in St. Louis and serves a particularly large group of families in the metro area. Our families have not seen any of the treatment discussed in this story and are blindsided by these allegations.
As the parent of a transgender son who saw the staff at the gender center for treatment, it has not been our experience that the Gender Center has been acting in anything other than a professional manner, working with our families as a team.
We support Washington University School of Medicine and expect a favorable outcome of their investigation into the Gender Center’s practices.
