We are looking for the the following volunteer positions to be filled. While these roles are voluntary, we do make strong demands on the character of those we select.

Director of Communications – National Staff Position – FILLED

Welcome Dawn Buckley! We’re very excited to have you on the team and are looking forward to the strong contribution we know you’ll make towards achieving TransParent’s mission.

Press Writer – National Staff Position

We are looking for a person with excellent written communication skills and who is familiar with writing press releases following AP standards. This position will write to promote the work, growth and impact of TransParent. It’s more important than ever for TransParent to be visible and to keep the gender conversation alive and well.

Secretary – Board Position

We are looking for an organized individual who to be responsible for a wide-range of projects and tasks — someone who is looking to constantly improve processes! From oversight of the board calendar and meetings, to management of our Google Drive, to responding to critical communications from parents in crisis – this position ensures everything runs well and on-time!

Webmaster – National Staff Position

Are you a Word Press expert? Do you want to help change the world in support of a very vulnerable population? We want you! You will be charged with page updates, list new resources, manage and format media with a cognizance of our community.

Social Media Leaders – National Staff Positions

Savvy Facebook and Instagram professionals are needed! Are you an advocate with cultural competency of the transgender experience? We need you! This is a remote position and can be staffed from the comfort of your own home (wearing your pj’s of course!).

Creative Writer – National Staff Position

We are in need of an individual who would be excited to craft and publish marketing and fundraising content including a monthly newsletter, event promotions and more. The ideal candidate will be a passionate creative writer with a supportive voice. Our parents rely on communications to serve as a beacon of hope at what can be a time of turbulence. Cultural competency and a general understanding of issues related to the transgender community is a must.
